Membership dependent upon the applicant attending a recognised training course in Laundry management.
Associate Membership (AMHLM)
Interim membership for managers not having any recognised formal qualifications.
Full Membership (MHLM)
Membership granted subject to applicant having:-
a) At least three years experience of laundry/linen service management and
b) A Guild Certificate in Intermediate Laundry Technology, together with any three Guild Certificates obtained by practical examination.
Alternative qualifications and/or experience may be taken into account at the discretion of the Membership Committee at the time of membership application.
This allows employees of large companys to receive technical assistance and training at reduced cost. Details upon request
The Society has nine regions as follows:
For ease of travelling, members may find it more convenient to attend meetings in a neighbouring region. If this is the case then application for membership should be made to the region whose meetings the member will attend.
Annual Subscriptions (£40) are due Jan 1st each year. Cheques payable to Society of Hospital Linen Services And Laundry Managers.
